It is 50 percent off "clearance" items only. So yeah, items already on clearance. Draw your own conclusions. Depends what you're looking for.
This was a bit misleading that their SMS didn't say "Clearance". It would have been a waste of time getting out there.

I got it via email and then saw "In Store Items Only" and "Only Jaycar stores, no resellers". It is a long way to my specific Jaycar store for nothing. Same thing for RTM (since they are under the same umbrella).

someone I know needed a lantern for cheap. and I so I went to the Jaycar website and searched. clicking on the 50% off ad goes nowhere but selecting a location (I did it all). I searched for lanterns and it's not really clear what is clearance.
I considered going down to the store it's really close by. but then I just imagined not being able to find a lantern on clearance and 50% off so ended up not bothering.
