About the wines 🍷 Each case includes:

🍷 1 x bottle of St Hallett Old Block Shiraz 2018
A vibrant and elegant wine on the palate, it offers rich fruit notes of satsuma and damson plums with layers of rich dark chocolate, and complex spices of cinnamon, cedar oak with hints of black pepper and nutmeg. The wine has a long and well-defined acid backbone, with a harmonious and long finish.
97 Points - The Vintage Journal + 95 Points - The Real Review

🍷 1 x bottle of St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2020
Full bodied and complex on the palate, expressing layers of concentrated blood plum and black cherry, combined with undertones of cocoa, nutmeg and vanilla bean all culminating in a harmonious structure of dense savoury tannins. A balanced wine with a certain vitality that will allow it to age gracefully over many years.
95 points - Stuart Knox The Real Review, Winner Premium Red (Bolder Varietals) in Vintage Cellars Best of Wine Awards 2023

🍷🍷 2 x bottles of St Hallett Butcher's Cart Shiraz 2022 or 2023
This rich and bold shiraz offers a bouquet of dark berry fruits with a hint of nutmeg spice. On the palate the lush and dense Barossa Valley parcels are lifted by the peppery spices of Eden Valley fruit.

🍷🍷 2 x bottles of St Hallett Black Clay Shiraz 2022 or 2023
Bright mulberry and blackcurrant fruit flavours burst onto the palate, complemented by balanced and even tannins. Abundant acidity makes this is a great option to enjoy with cheesy pasta and pizza.

  • It’s a very confusing logo, is there any meaning behind it? Just curious

    • +1

I'm gonna take a punt and say DW is short for Distinction Wines

      • I gathered that, but wasn’t sure if the circles meant anything. Also thought if they were either ticks or two V’s as usually the middle of a W joins and doesn’t continue.

        Again, I was just curious

    • Great question. I have no idea however, I will find out for you.

Using current CellarOne pricing per bottle
    $94
    $35
    $22.49x2=$45
    $14x2=28

    Total=202

So this is a good deal for a mixed case

    • +2

Yes, but you have to be a person who is happy to spend $94 on a bottle and then also drink a $14 bottle. I don’t know many who do both.

      • Agree. I'll take 2 bottles of Old Block for $152 any day

        • So would I, but this deal only offers 1 bottle of Old Block.

      • +2

I do, and I know of many who do.

Mid week quaffers, as well as the nicer bottle for an occasion

  • is this shiraz lamb?
