Change of date: Now Sunday, November 17.

Now 1pm

Table booked for 6.

I thought early in the month would minimise seasonal busy-ness. Instead it gives wriggle room.

Register if you can make it, suggest an alternative if you can't. There's another weekend and a Saturday in November.

No table booked yet, but I live in hope. It would be a nice weekend drive from Brisbane.

WHERE: El Atar, 34A Neil St, Toowoomba, Qld

WHEN: Sun, November 17

WHO: Plan to book a table for 8, when 3 others register

WHAT: Probably the $43 banquet, but you don't have to

WHY: OzBargain's 18

HOW: I need to work out the deposit method. Stay tuned. Otherwise, come, meet good people, eat good food, and Scotty will re-imburse me. At least that's how I think it works.

    I'd come but im time poor.

    Would be cool to have a ozbargain group for Toowoomba tho. Help either other out with local bargains.Maybe facebook group or something

    I've never been to EL Atar so that'd be my vote.
    I also frequent the Irish a bit. Sofra is amazing too. I work Monday to Friday so weekends are best for me too. Maybe a Sunday is best for the CBD for free parking ;-)

        We had events before with 4-5 people. Or do you want to wait for more people to sign up? It's difficult for people to register their interest without knowing the the date & venue. Now it's confirmed — we'll see whether more people put their hands up.

      I'd love a date change. Not sure 8f I'm the only one. I have my daughters dance recital and a birthday party in the arvo. How does Sunday work for you?

    Just saw that the event is now in the past. I will message a mod and see if this can be changed.

    I think just registering should be enough - I wasn't going to worry about a deposit if there were just 4-6 of us.

    I hope to hear from another member early this week and will nail down Saturday or Sunday then.

    It's getting close and I am ready to shuffle this a little further into the future if that's what it takes. Please register your interest.

    Brisbane OzBargainers: we really only need one or two of you to ascend the range for a day out so we can have lunch and celebrate - but only one or two :)

        Just got home. Nice quiet lunch, really liked the food. Met new people, exercised my socialising skills a little. Wololo wombat has the one photo.

        Busted the budget with sweets and coffee, but we shall survive.
