I know the game received some very poor reviews (IGN gave it a 4/10), though this was pretty harsh apart from the game being released with too many bugs. I have completed the main storyline, and I am approaching 50 hours in the game. 10:10 Games has been making a big effort to fix bugs and improve on the game - I'd say it's closer to a 6.5/7 in reality (once all the bugs are resolved).

If you enjoy the LEGO games and the main franchises in this game interest you (Jurassic World, The Umbrella Academy, The Thing, Masters of the Universe, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Hot Fuzz & Battlestar Galactica), you may enjoy this game. There is a Steam demo you can try out first. You don't have to be into buying Pop Vinyl's to enjoy the game.

I wouldn't recommend picking this game up for children, it's probably more appropriate for 13+ year olds as younger children may get stuck at times and the game does have franchises like Chucky and M3gan in it.

Was genuinely surprised a week or so back when I found out this wasn't F2P

    • Paying for ads is great!

    • Someone's gotta pay for all those licensing fees on the characters

Thanks for the detailed post, but Steam is jam packed with awesome games. Why would you spend valuable time on a 6.5/7 title ?
With a Steam account, you can just play "Overwhelmingly Positive" games for the rest of your life !

    • I probably wouldn’t rate any games in this genre a 10/10 to be honest, some of the Lego games would get closer to this kind of score. I feel that a 7/10 overall is alright, keeping in mind that some franchises you may really like and others not as much.
