Hi All,

Thanks have sent enquiry to a few. Have you done any of them before? Any feedback?
No but there is a concentration camp i knew of
Yeah sounds like fun, you should go for it.
What level are you? Total beginner or more or less, can surf but want to improve? Are you happy to hang out with young backpackers or looking for something a bit older and less drunk? East coast, west coast?
Done around 20 lessons pass beginner but not intermediate yet. Don't mind hanging hanging out with younger nor older crowd early 30s if that matters. Happy to travel as I also wouldn't mind getting away for a holiday for a few days.
There are a bunch of camps that run out of Sydney - aimed mostly at backpackers but obviously anyone can join. Surf Camp Australia is based just south of Sydney and has a good reputation. There are similar especially around Byron eg mojosurfing (?something like that). These are camps aimed at getting you in the water, having fun, learning but not super serious. If you want a relaxing holiday where you also improve your surfing then these are great. I’m sure there are similar in other states
Surfing Australia runs more ‘serious’ camps - for novice level but much more technical, video analysis etc. If your priority is to improve your surfing and really focus on skills then do these. You do need a basic level of skill eg able to paddle out and catch waves most of the time. These are based in N NSW.
Bali and Lombok have a heap of surf camps as well. Or resorts that offer surf lessons
