Seiko Presage Cocktail Star Bar Tokyo Magic Limited Edition SRPK75J
I know these 2 are ATL or close to ATL with the $20 off. The Seiko 5 GMT probably is. Sumo Whitsunday, and a couple more Presages. The mini Samurai is still too expensive.

Shit, you got me mb
Some great deals starting to crank with the lead-up to BF. I must keep a tight lid on my credit card or future Mr C will have a hard time.
That Star Bar special edition is really nice. I see Starbuy has matched the price as well. No $20 signup bonus, though.
Star Bar is nice but I have 5 or 6 presages I never wear, including Lark 1. Lark 2 is very ordinary and the other new LE just looks like Lark 1
Dumb $20 not valid for the one item I was hunting for, lol
Unrelated but this is also a good price, pulled the trigger https://starbuy.com.au/seiko-mockingbird-40-5mm-srpd37j/?sou…
Nice one! I've been eyeing off the Mojito but not sure about the smaller case
I like how it’s a little bit smaller, by 3mm, than the 40.5.
Thanks for this! I've been searching for a small green dial, just picked one up at Watch Depot with an additional $20 welcome discount.
I much prefer the smaller case of the mojito but I prefer a cleaner dial with no numbers :)
Does the movement command this price point?
My Presage Skydiver loses 2 seconds a day, which is quite acceptable for a mechanical watch.
My Pulsar field watch, loses 2 seconds a week, but that’s quartz (so comparing apples to pears).
I'm ok with the movement at this discounted price. I think the bigger concern is the lack of sapphire crystal.
Omg should I cop SRPE19J??
Oh.. I shouldn’t…
Unless…..
…unless it would look good on you? I think it would. :)
I can imagine it now , mate.
It's ten past 11, and the meeting has been going for an hour already. The Design Thinking team are talking about "product excellence" and "going the extra mile for customers". You look at your watch and think "Bah, SEIKO knew more about product excellence and going extra miles than these losers, and they knew it before they were born" Then the cute girl in the Change Management team writes a quick note, folds it and slides it across the table to you. "This is boring. Do you have plans for lunch? If not I am free"… You look up and she smiles at you. You look at your watch again. Just fifty more minutes…… Seiko presage SRPE19J - light blue on stainless steel .
Beautiful.
Seiko presage SRPE19J fan-fic, probably not the strangest comment on ozb today.
Also 8/10 would read again.
Yo, I'm still working on my TRUE PATRICIANS magazine. Can you be a guest writer?
Are Seiko sales like Harris Scarfe of the watch world? Always on "sale"
Depends on the line. Most of their lower tier lines/models should never be purchased at RRP.
No a saphire crystall anymore
Been eyeing the SRPK75J for almost a year, and yet now when it's time to buy the stainless steel looks like it's clashing with the dial. Great deal though.
Seiko Presage SRPJ17J 'The Irish Coffee' Cocktail Time doesn't clash as much, the brown pulls the rose and steel together.
I so want to love this watch but I can't un-see the S/S. I agree it's a handsome looking watch, and the dial pattern is mesmerising, I'm simply not liking the juxtaposition of the rose gold indexes & hands + silver S/S case. Just my two-bob's worth, I don't want to put anyone else off of loving it.
Agreed, the all-rose SRPB46J1 is much nicer, esp with the alligator strap.
People who complain about no sapphire …
Do you bang your watch on the door without or before touching the door handle? Or throw away your watch once you arrive home? Put your keys on your watch? Or something else …
My old watches are still like new without any scratches … Even the link.
People have watched too many YouTube reviews!
While sapphire is definitely nice, it’s not the end of the world if a watch doesn’t have it.
Personally, if I like the watch and the price is right, I would go for it, sapphire or not.
I'd also buy it regardless, but It's a needless frustration having to deal with scratches.
Especially for watches with flat glass. Wholesale cost for flat sapphire is only a couple dollars.
I tend to agree. There’s a perception of better value with sapphire but I honestly think if you’re careful with your watch it really shouldn’t matter what type of glass it is. Look at Rolex: they’ve often used acrylic for their crystals in the past and nobody complains. I couldn’t think of a material more likely to scratch than simple plastic. Yet, collectors lose their sh*t when they find one that’s so crazed and cracked you can hardly make out the dial. Go figure.
I have watches that cost way more than these with domed acrylic. Idc about crystal type, if I like the watch I buy it
Same goes for $12,000 Omega Moonwatches with hesalite crystals, aka acrylic.
The decimal place has slipped to the right on this one

On sale, only 1000% extra.
Mind you, if WD sells any at their price, good luck to 'em.
Edit: they've fixed it. $799 discounted to $699, not the previous $7,999 :D
Got a mojito. No more watches for a while lol
Got mine yesterday and it's a very pretty dial in person.
I'll need to find a better strap for it.
SRPE19J was $330 in 2022 😛
