Whilst it's no ATL, at ~$1.58 a bar this looks like the best we've had in just shy of 6 months. How's your second half of the year been?

That's fair, I'd describe my second half of the year as also having been just about 11g Protein, 17g sugar too tbh.
it's an energy bar, not a protein bar. you need energy. energy comes from sugar and carbs
Exactly.
Just like energy drinks shouldn't be confused as a health food no matter how many sports Red Bull sponsors.
exactly. eat this and move around.
unfortunately people eat this for a snack and sit at their desk all day.unfortunately people eat this for a snack and sit at their desk all day.
It depends on what you do at your desk as your brain consumes half of all the sugar energy in the body.
What's your point?
Has anyone actually ever tried the Chocolate Almond Fudge or seen the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut in stock?
The white choc & mac is nice. But i prefer white choc.
As others said below - the peanut butter is nice.
I also like the white choc & mac
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut(amazon.com.au) in stock?
Once in a blue moon. Otherwise it's the same damn flavours in stock over and over again. Okay as fuel, but after a while definitely meh.
The fudge one felt really heavy for mid exercise supplement.
Prob better for resting on a hike, where as i could run and eat the peanut butter
If you wanted to try them all the individual bars are half price ($1.75ea) in Woolworths at the moment
great deal OP! I'm still going through mine from the last deal haha
peanut butter all the way!
Yup. I tried the brownie one or something? Oh my god. Couldn't eat a whole bar. Peanut butter for the win.
Crunchy peanut butter or banana + PB?
crunchy peanut butter. have yet to try banana one
The banana one wasn't as good imo.
For me, the crunchy PB is the best and white choc macadamia being a close 2nd.
The choc mint (which I only just tried last sale) I thought was really good too, but only bought a couple from Coles to test, might get sick of them with a whole box.
These are great! I eat one for breakfast when I have an early golf round. Always keep one in my golf bag.
Coco's Annerley in Brisbane have these for 99c atm, for anyone in the area
Cheers op - have been on the lookout for another box…can't pay >$20 when this deal pops up every now and again.
Thanks OP, my second half of the year has been one of despair because I ran out of Clif bars - now it will be one of Clif laden joy.
My Father in-law Clif would love these!
He spells it with one ‘f’?
Haha nah.. :P
Anyone here actually eaten one of these while hanging off a cliff?
Yes
Yes
Yes.
Seriously, it's not that hard.
no only hanging off the couch
I ate one precariously while hanging on my friends macpac sleeve
I don't know why these are so popular - they are so dry and really hard to chew, especially while doing exercise when you're already breathing hard.
There’s a time and place for em, like a hike
If you need energy during high intensity exercise you’d be better off with gu gel or something
If you need energy during high intensity exercise you’d be better off with….
A Whopper with Cheese. They are tasty and pretty easy to eat while sprinting

From the website:
For best results, CLIF BARs should be eaten about one to three hours before exercise along with water to prevent hunger and supply energy to working muscles. During prolonged, lower intensity exercise such as hiking or bike touring, CLIF BARs can be eaten during activity to help satiate hunger and meet carbohydrate demands.
All it takes is either a tiny bit of rudimentary thought, or for those who can't figure it out the blatantly obvious, five seconds of reading.
If you are huffing and puffing, you are clearly not supposed to be trying to stuff a dry Cliff bar down your throat. Same way you don't try to eat a ham and cheese sandwich (which probably has a comparable macro profile) during a triathlon.
High effort endurance events use gel shots. Anyone who does high effort endurance stuff… should already know this.
I had a 5% coupon to apply to my first subscribe and save for this as well. Not sure why, but that was another 95c off ha.
Only peanut butter left
How's your second half of the year been?
Yeah pretty good thanks. Just waiting for my Retroid Pocket 5 to ship.
Just Googled this, looks cool. What's the first thing you're going to play?
This is a good question…. I have so many ideas around this but I bet I end up playing Android games/ports or Roblox with the kids lol
Cool mint ftw, has caffeine in it too.
11g Protein, 17g sugar
