Wowee-zowee! So many nickels and dimes I can pick up off the ShopBack floor this week!!

You can have sauce with your sausage roll tomorrow 😋

      • +4

Sausage roll? Luxury! But I did find a snail and piece of lint under the table… that's almost as good as a sausage roll.

        • +4

          You have a table?!?

          • +4

@cook99: It's ShopBack's table and we are just the dogs begging at it

      • +2

        Wait you have Sauce?
        That's like 6 check ins worth!! 🤯

When the vc money runs out

    • +4

As if you could be bothered doing this. It's also rewarding their terrible offers/incentives. No thanks! Not a deal, more a slap in the face with a dead fish.

  • +21

I know times are tough at the moment and all but you guys serious about this being a deal?

    • +4

Not at all. Just taking the piss. Unfortunately no 50 cents.

    • +2

I am, I wouldn't have posted it otherwise. Tapping a button for 5c/10c won't appeal to everyone but it works for me.

It's cashback down to its purest form, the company paying the consumer for a click.

      • +14

I feel you need to start considering what your time is worth. And stop incentivising SB to get free FrontPage advertising and normalising these types of terrible deals. I already knew from the previous $0.10 deals they were going to go down to $0.05. Next up $0.01.

        • +5

It's worth it to me, I'm in the app anyway and checking in takes almost no effort or time.

They're paying the cashback so it's not really free advertising, they're literally paying for it. The votes will determine if the deal is terrible.

They have done 5c in the past already, it's not new. If it ever drops to 1c then I'll agree it's a terrible deal, 10c is the minimum for me, I included the 5c because it was there.

It's not just tapping a button though you have to linger for a while. Extreme cbf.

50 cent's been calling out Puffy for 2 decades now. The man needs to be saved at all cost
      (hopefully low cost of course…)

    • +2

2 of the top 5 most popular deals at the moment are getting $5 for spending $40+ with over 500 positive votes.

Considering this is free I don't see how it's any different especially as it's super trivial to do.

    Do this during working hours

Boss gets a dollar, i get a dime, so I click on shopback during company time

      • +5

The boss is a chump and the company's fickle, I check into Trip.com and score myself a nickel

  • Hands up if you do this while on the toilet

  • I sold my soul for the 25c. TY

  • No iHerb for me? No see all button.

    • It's showing up now. It might have been a time zone thing.

Reminds me of the 1990s when I'd install 4 different Pay to Surf ad programs that take up half my screen and software to jiggle the mouse.

    • Haha I remember that. I never did get paid.

    • +1

I had an ISP in the late 90s, no idea of the name but it was FREE internet supported by some ads. -I also had Ad blocking software, Black Ice Defender and other privacy software to prevent said ads and associated complications. Good times man, no $100 monthly internet back then!!

remember to report these as "other income" for your 2024-2025 tax return.

    Wow. Shopback being so generous.

  • +2

Gives cents for reward then forgets to track actual order and rewards !

    • Is guaranteed 10c better than risking not getting $5+ cashback? 🤔

    Thanks OP.
