JB dropped the price on the C855 series today. Good guys is still running their $400 cash back on the 85" C855 until midnight for an effective 30% the current worst price ($4k). "98 inch has a $500 gift card.
Could it go lower this month? Maybe.

This is pretty expensive noting that it was down to $2,735 in June, and will most likely be cheaper on Black Friday (based on how previous model pricing their respective points in the lifecycle)

Depends how much you value dark/moody scenes, peak brightness 3300 vs 1300, dimming zones 2200 vs 800. This is pretty much as close as you can get to OLED levels of blacks without actually going OLED.
Bought this TV from JB a few weeks ago. Very happy with it!
