      $160<$165, and engraving isn't a necessity. Plus from the link, the 4 pack is also available for $147, so even more of a saving against $165.

      Sure, if you want engraving that's useful value, but most use cases don't need it.

      Maybe Facebook Market Place you might find cheaper but otherwise yes I think it's the cheapest at this time

      If you don't need Precision Finding the Atuvos tags $16.99 via Amazon work pretty much the same. I sold all of my Airtags (n=6) and replaced them with lower cost Atuvos

          So far no noticeable difference. They have two additional benefits: an on/off button which is great if you're using them for luggage; an inbuilt lanyard hole, no need to purchase an accessory case/holder

          AirTag looks better hanging off your bag or keys. Otherwise it's just the Precision Finding. Apple's Find My network accessory program allows third-party device manufacturers to build products utilising the service; products function exactly the same in Find My as AirTags. Here's a good Atuvos review and some other options that come to mind: Chipolo Spot; Kogan Smart Tag; eufy SmartTrack Link; Yipoyilo. Atuvos, Chipolo & eufy also make cards suitable for wallets

    I've been using airtags for a couple of years. But recently bought 3x generic airtags off aliexpress for $12. So far so good.

    My Son's school backpack has an airtag and a generic in an inside pocket, I can see both of them in apple Find My - last updated at the same time in the same location. No idea's on battery life yet - I think it says 1 year replaceable.
