Galaxy Nexus has slightly yellow tint

New Google Nexus phone, purchased through Kogan a few days ago, has a slightly yellow tint all over over the entire screen. It's notable on max or min brightness, or anywhere in between. I've compared the phone with one from Vodafone's store and mine is indeed different. What should I do? Will Kogan provide a replacement? Will they send me a new or refurbished phone? Has anyone had Kogan warranty service before, and what are your experiences? Has anyone experienced a yellow Nexus phone before?

    its along their entire line… its not the same screen as the galaxy nexus… nexus 4 is shitter screen :\

    Which Nexus phone are you referring to? Kogan don't sell the new Nexus 4 (LG). If it's the previous Galaxy Nexus (Samsung), you might want to seek a replacement. Kogan should treat this as a defect and replace it with a new one.

    I have a Gal Nexus and no sign of this yellow tint if you're talking about this phone.

    Yes, talking about old Nexus, not 4. Kogan asked my to download a colour changing app to correct the tint. Adding Blue makes the yellow more white, but, also makes the pure blacks more blue. I'm not satisfied.

    I'm pretty sure it's an AMOLED production issue. This happened to both mine and my friend's SGS2.
    This is why I don't want to get the SGS3, I don't want the same piss colored tint over my $500 phone.

    I just received a replacement phone today (took a month to get a replacement - yes I know it was over the holidays).

    The phone is still yellow. Does Kogan give refunds? Am I stuck with this piss coloured tint phone?
