Petstock: 26% Cashback (Capped at $60 Per Member) @ TopCashback AU

852

TopCashback has an upsized 26% cashback (capped at $60 per member) at Petstock.
Stacks with 20% off sitewide after dark sale online only.
Expires 15/10/24 9am AEDT

From TA:

Guys, fyi and a reminder that if you make more than one transaction, you need to generate a new click for each separate one. If fail to register a new click with each transaction, subsequent orders will not track and the retailer will not pay us commission

The $60 cap applies per member. So all orders when totalled cannot exceed $60 cashback. Cheers.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is ineligible on any services such as vet, grooming, DIY wash, puppy school, pet adoption, pet ID tags, water testing, dog daycare, and cat boarding.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

Guys, fyi and a reminder that if you make more than one order, you need to generate a new click for each new one. If you fail to register a new click prior to each order, subsequent orders will not track and the retailer will not pay us commission (and you won't get cashback). This rule is true for a lot of retailers, and in particular Petstock:

Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

The $60 cap applies per member. So all orders when totalled cannot exceed $60 cashback. Cheers.

    • I love the cashback offers from TopCashback, but the website infrastructure really needs a major upgrade. I've skipped the cashback offers so many times just because of how unresponsive the site is.

      • Can you please elaborate on what you mean by unresponsive? Thank you.

        • +1

Sometimes the page takes a long time to load, and I can't navigate the site until it's fully loaded. I noticed that this happens more frequently with some of the pages, such as the "tell-a-friend" referral page. If you run the google pagespeed analytics on https://www.topcashback.com.au/account/tell-a-friend/ you can see that there is a much longer loading time

          • -2

@Wings4Life: First time someone has stated this. I’ve never had issues nor has anyone previously reported issues with speed. Page loads in an instant for me on Firefox, Chrome, Edge, iPad Safari. Are you sure you don’t have any bloatware or 3rd party plugins etc causing issues? Would be interested to get feedback from others. Cheers.

            • @tightarse: The site becomes unresponsive for 10-15 seconds when you click on the view performance link of refer and earn.

            • @tightarse: Had the same issue today. Each time I went to the friends referral page .. took forever to load and then crashed the tab.. happened multiple times. If I left it and didn't click for a bit.. probably 30-60 seconds, it did eventually load.. but took a few tries to figure this out. First few tries I was trying to click to the view performance link as soon as the page became visible.

          • @Wings4Life: I haven't had speed issues on the website or app using Chrome browser with Telstra and iiNet on PCs and phones.

          • @Wings4Life: Gonna chime in and second this issue. I don't recall having any problems before but now I'm definitely getting an error on my Samsung mobile browser that the site becomes unresponsive and that I can either wait or close it. Neither option seems to work really and I can't navigate back to OzBargain - and then I get the error that the tab crashed.

@Jeffie: Thanks guys. Have reported the above with tech.

          • @Wings4Life: Works fine for me.

  • getting an error whenever i go on the site

    • Which browser are you using? I haven't had issues with Chrome on PC or phone app.

    • Works for me

if you have pi-hole, or adguard, you might want to make this rule:

Will it track an Autoship order?

    • +1

      Yes

  • Matching shopback!

    • +5

      Wow, matching ShopBack Plus!

My imagination or are things more expensive than earlier today when the sale wasnt on?

    • at least the cat litter i bought was the same

    • +1

Cat food I usually buy is definitely more expensive after their “after dark sale”

      • +1

thats what i was looking at

    Tracked in 5min. Amazing stuff

  • Was excited, but $15 shipping to “regional” areas and neither local store has stock for click and collect

  • +2

Tracking email came before the order confirmation. Good stuff.

  • Much as that I dislike SB atm, Apparently their 25% is uncapped, if you need to purchase a single order of more than $240 worth that is.

  • What did you guys buy? Any savings?
I found 9 stores cheaper without cashback for Revolution Blue 6 pack. Wasn't keen to search/compare all the other stuff I needed to buy.

    • +2

Got nextgard spectra, with autoship it becomes relatively the same price as other places so with cashback it's up to $20 cheaper than anywhere else so an ok deal

      • How are you getting 20% off nextgard? Just shows 15% for me and it’s cheaper elsewhere online

        • $20 not 20%

after cashback…if it works it is roughly $81, everywhere else it is around $100

          dog 30-60kg 6pk

          • @michael9865: Petstock has 20% off site wide but I can’t see it on the nextgard. The auto renew price is 15% off the buy it once price

            • +1

@iShibby: Spectra excluded from sale. Non-spectra is on sale

          • +1

@michael9865: U also get like $18 brand cashback for ur next purchase :-)

            • @Repstar: Nexgard spectra 15.1kg
              Pet circle: $122 - 26% = $102.48
Discount pet care: $89.19 free ship

I bought the glow mackerel dry dog food 10kg for hopefully $48(normally $79)after cashback. My dog has issues with chicken protein and almost all other dog foods have chicken or fillers of some sorts in them. It's rarely on sale so 20% plus 26% cashback is great.

Tracked straight away, thanks TCB and OP!

Don’t forget to check prices with http://99petshops.com.au/ I find that pet stock prices are usually significantly higher than other online shops!

    • Interesting site, it doesn't have petstock though.

      • Petstock is in my comparison list for cat food.

        • Ok I see it now. It's not indexed the whole site, just 2 pages of products. Example https://99petshops.com.au/p/5262/Breeders-Choice-Cat-Litter-…

          • @Alley Cat: Interesting that you gave the cat litter as an example. I had an issue with Petstock's delivery where the 30 Litre bags seemed lighter and less volume, so I weighed them and compared to bags from other stores (Petbarn and Petcircle). Petstock's were about 9kg whereas the others were about 12kg. I would have assumed there would be no difference as they would've been sourced from the same factory. I'm hesitant about buying these bags from Petstock in the future.

            • +1

@Herbs: Woot? 3kgs of 9kgs, that's significant! I have downsized my cat population to just one, so I go through 1 bag per 3 months or something like that — using two-tiered litter box really helped, or maybe she's been peeing elsewhere I haven't found. I don't have any full bags at the moment, but picking some up tomorrow, will report back how much they weigh.

            • +1

@Herbs: Just got the delivery. It's whopping 12kgs. Maybe it's to do with the humidity? It's been quite dry though. They are sold by volume though. Give it another try?

    Thanks! Tracked instantly

20% off on food and 26% cashback, nice! The dog food I use hasn't been this cheap since I started using it in 2021.

  • +2

Will it still track if I use my petstock brand cashback?

  • +2

Can I use the Brand Reward money and still get cashback on the net amount paid?

  • -5

Price jacked hard. Look at 7.5kg royal canin dachshund……$105 on this website yet $76 on jumbo pets.

    • Did they jack it or are they more expensive on that product? Jacking before a sale is illegal, returning to usual price isn't.

      • Edit: nevermind there is a sale as well..

Increased cashbacks are not considered a sale afaik.

  • Wow their website sucks - and so much is already out of stock… even while going through the shopping cart process things were changing to out of stock, preventing me submitting an order. They're already overpriced as it is most of the time… even with 20% off they're not very cheap, but the extra 26% cashback makes them a bit cheaper than most other places, so managed to order a few things at least :)

Petstock is now majority owned by Ww. TopCashback needs to update its company spiel.

Aristopet cat treatment is a good price before cb. Same ingredients and dosage as Neovet.
    https://www.petstock.com.au/products/aristopet-animal-health…

Ww offering 15% "Brand Cash" for repeat spends on some brands (including Aristopet) plus 1 EDR point per $ spent if you link your EDR card. Brand Cash looks useful for ongoing repeat purchases assuming you stick to the same products.

  • Can you redeem everyday rewards points/dollars to pay? Will that void the cashback?

    • +2

You don't wanna gamble on cashbacks. Why not just use those at woolies?

  • Royal canine actually good price on some stuff

    Still waiting for tracking…. Hmmm

  • Discount + cashback still dearer than Pet Circle for select Royal Canin.

  • got excited for a moment, then did a quick sanity check on prices elsewhere

  • Mine hasn't tracked (yet?)
