Ever since the iPhone 16's launched, there haven't been any Apple Gift Card deals at Coles or Woolworths.
The last Apple Gift Card deal was mid-August (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/861237). What's up with that?? I need some for my subscriptions and App Store purchases!
Are Coles and Woolworths temporarily holding off because there's lots of demand for new iPhones?? OR Is this the end of "10%" off Apple Gift Cards as we know it??
The ACCC should be instigating Apple for the control they have over retailers.
Did you see the comment @VantageXL posted in the deal you linked to? It illustrates that this has happened before and is probably not cause for alarm.
I believe sales for iphones weren't as good this year so hopefully colesworth are allowed to push the promotions a bit earlier.

I am not sure if Apple will discontinue Apple Gift Cards in Australia.
But on a trip to the US recently, I tried to buy US Apple Gift Cards and couldn't find any.
At the Apple Store in LA told me they no longer do Gift Cards, nor do any merchants in the US
Everything for Apple at Apple is on line or at Apple stores.
I have a US Apple account for the time I go to the US for US Apps and Apple TV etc and pay with a US Credit Card.
I don't think there is any way you can get discounted gift cards to use at Apple Australian stores any more.
Although I have heard there are gift cards available from Woolworths & Coles, where they can be used for purchases at JB Hi Fi, but are they discounted enough to be worthwhile ?
LOL yeah, it's Coles and Woolworth that make the decision to discount APPLE products!!
(HINT: It's all APPLE, APPLE like their walled garden to be able to control EVERYTHING - including the timing of gift card discounts)
Let the 16 hype die down and sales slow, then the discounts will magically appear (so probably after Xmas)
