Hi Vic Ozbargain community,

To celebrate OzBargain's 18th Birthday, I am organizing a birthday celebration meetup at ~~Okami Epping.~~ Okami Cragieburn
It would be great catch up with fellow OZ mates.

OKAMI is an AYCE ( All You can Eat ) Japanese venue.

OKAMI MENU - OKAMI Menu

Date🗓: Friday, 15th November 2024

Time🕕: 6:00 PM (STRICTLY) - We only have a two hour window for AYCE

Place📍: Okami Epping, 2B Forum Way, Epping 3076 - Map

Parking🚗: Parking can be done at Coles Aurora Village. They have a huge parking lot and Okami is walking distance from there. Map

Budget💲: $45 per person per member. This is only for food. No Drinks included . If you want drinks, you are welcome to buy your own.
Please no children, partners or other family members who are not a part of the OzBargain community. This is a member only event with fixed no. of table booking.

I have requested for some TShirts for the event but no confirmation on the sizes. We will see how this goes. No commitments.

⚠️ Your registration is not confirmed unless the token amount is received.

All registered attendees must transfer $10 via Beem app to my id (roadzilla) by Friday the 1st of November 2024 to confirm registration. After that day, I will remove the unconfirmed members from the event. This amount will be refunded to you on the day of the event.

Anyone already registered to attend 2 events elsewhere will not be allowed to attend this as 3rd event. Only 2 events per member is allowed.

⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️: Please read AYCE rules.

Please only ORDER what you can EAT - OKAMI aims to minimize wastage. A wastage charge of $15 applies for any uneaten item exceeding 200g with an additional charge of $5 for every extra 100g. Please note that leftovers from our all-you-can-eat menu cannot be taken away and all-you-can-eat food cannot be shared with à la carte customers.
For “All You Can Eat” bookings, the maximum sitting time is 2 hours from the reservation time.
Advance notice is essential for all dietary requirements. We kindly request our guests to inform us about any specific dietary needs during the reservation process. Please understand that we cannot accommodate completely celiac, gluten-free, and vegan dishes due to the potential of trace allergens in our working environment and supplied ingredients, making it challenging to ensure entirely achieving a certified 100% allergen-free status. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in prioritizing the safety of all our guests.

  It would be too hectic to carry all the stuff and make. Plus, can't trust Melbourne weather. I am searching a place where we can sit down, talk and chill. An activity would be added advantage.

How about Casa D'Abruzzo Club in Epping ? I haven’t been there but I have heard the place is decent and they have billiards/pokies for activites.

there's a lot of restaurants and options at the Epping Plaza food precinct (TGIF, Saluti, Ajisen ramen, Gami Chicken)

if Epping, why not the AYCE@China Bar Epping? lots of places to sit, ask for Calvin the manager to organise something for a longer setting for attendees.

another possible AYCE is Okami Epping/Craigieburn, both have good seatings and capped food pricing.

I think Gami isn't a bad choice also. the newly opened A1 bakery has lots of sitting spaces as well.

AYCE @ Okami Epping is good idea. I checked with them its, $42.50pp AYCE. No drinks included.
Republic Tavern at Mantra is another good one.

AYCE@Chinabar is $69 on Friday evenings, so eveyone will have to shell $25 from pocket. Not everyone will be willing.

Closer to the day I will check with Okami if they can give us more tables. If they will, i'll open up more slots for registrations. We are still good 3 weeks away from the event. Until then , its 15 people cap for now.

For people who are confirmed they are coming, please beem me the amount to confirm and block your registration. Amount will be refunded on the day.
