looking for something to get delivered next day in the last 2 hours of BIG day sale?
showing as Amazon Choice usually $15 these are the best they won’t break on you like some of the silicone ones.

• Package and Service: Come with 2pcs Phone Tether Tab.
pretty sure it’s a 2 pack because even the other $17 options don’t mention it but show it in picture.

these won’t work with open bottom cases.

find these handy either for lanyard (I recommend Sinjimoru which does come with it’s own tabs) or hanging something with a key ring.

  • Yes it comes as a 2 pack - last dot point in blurb:

"Package and Service: Come with 2pcs Phone Tether Tab."

If you are visiting France with this then you will come back without the phone

Please note, depending on how tight your case is, you will probably find that your case does not fit as snugly anymore against the bottom of your iPhone and/or your USB cable will no longer fit into the bottom of the iPhone because the whole phone has shifted a few mm out and the hole at the bottom which used to fit your slightly chunky plastic USB-C housing will no longer push all the way through.

Spending $6 to find this out is probably an ok investment I guess though.

    • You are right.
High end phone cases are almost precisiion fit.

my silicone ones that came with lanyard grip and add a bit of friction. but I made sure to look from the side with cable plugged in and it’s going in perfectly straight so it’s fine.

if cable is not going in well, make sure you aren’t putting it in as far down in the case it will go. this cases the sticky out bit to fold up and it gets in the way more.

friend has the woven material type like this deal there is basically zero friction so much better.

  • Can get on Ali express for cheaper

The ones I bought recently were less than 1mm thick and worked perfectly fine. My daughter didn't want it from the bottom, so I cut it to suit where the silent button was located on an iPhone SE & she's happy as Larry.

yeah they are 0.1mm in thickness according to the description.

my silicone one is still fine but I have read a few reviews where they said the metal ring in the tab (it looks kinda like a button) that’s surrounded by silicone came out and the tab couldn’t hold anything anymore.

but you don’t have that problem with the Amazons choice one in this deal.

ok so with my spare tab I tried to do one on the silent button, cut the inside tab to size.

but the silent button opening on my case is a bit too small so I couldn't push the phone all the way into the case. I mean it's in but I think it will pop out that corner if I drop it.

some people might need to cut the bottom of the silent button opening on the case as well (if you can do it like silicone cases). I could probably cut my case but I decided not too and having it at the bottom is fine.

just incase someone wants to try it I thought I should share my failure because you have to cut the tab first to find out. 😭
