Critically acclaimed game on sale for a very good price. Finally picked it up myself after being a massive fan of Gears Tactics.

got it steam, iOS, Mac OS app store, Switch, ps5. I don't think I need to get this on more platforms lol.
Good for cloud gaming on other devices as it has a slow pace.
Love this game, and it's a good price. It's a shame the DLC pack with War of the Chosen isn't being reduced the same way.
The console versions sadly lack modding capabilities, which is what makes this game absolutely shine like the radiant gem it is. Going far beyond simply adding new classes and units, there are mods that completely overhaul the enemy AI and even the way the strategic layer of gameplay functions. The game is as its best on the PC.

The base/map management for this game killed it for me. Made no sense to me and added little value. Tactics gameplay was better than Gears Tactics though. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is best overall!
Each to their own but a hard disagree for me. I loved the tactics, don't get me wrong, but racing around the map, making pressure decisions about what to investigate, what to research, what to build, balancing the risks and rewards, knowing one wrong move and it's all over - that's why I love this game.
Shame this wasn't XCOM 1, which is decent.
99% point blank. Still miss. Good times!
