Travel eSIM to Singapore

Hi there, does anyone know what’s the best eSIM option when travelling to a Singapore for about 14 days?

Generally, would like something with unlimited data cos of kids. I’ve seen that Singtel has a tourist eSIM for $12 100gb data limit. Don’t really want to pay much more than that but prefer an unlimited option.

Appreciate any insight into this🙏

  • 100gb data for $12 SGD? If so, that seems like good value. With Airalo, I can only get 3GB data for $13AUD (~12SGD).

thank you, will get this for my dad who is going to Singapore in Dec.

    • Singtel eSim for tourists? or local only. Did you just sign up online and activate it, that simple?

      • for tourist, activated online and its simple

  • Got the Singtel $12 esim last month when we went for the F1. sim was great, reception everywhere we went.
Take note you cant activate until you are in Singapore. When we goto the airport we activated it and had to upload photos of passport and a selfie for ID purposes, took about 5-10mins to activate and go through.

Also keep an eye out on Pelago, they sell the same sim and often it is cheaper plus cashrewards and shopback sometimes have good offers for them

    • This is great! Thank you!!

    • I managed to go to Singtel website earlier today and decided to purchase for my parents, it had the option to get 2 eSIMs, however, only received 1 code and reference to activate the e sim. Quite frustrating as I thought I would get 2 eSIMs for the 2 phones but I read somewhere in the FAQ that only 1 device allowed? So had to contact customer care and they are looking into it.

Didn’t realise you could only activate while in Singapore. So thanks for highlighting that.

  • That exact same $12 esim is only less than $8 on agoda under activities section!. While you are in agoda, check out their other activities section too! a lot cheaper than what other sells.

    • Wow, you’re right! Legend! 🙏😊 I’m definitely going through this

    • Cant seem to purchase, any idea why?It doesn't let me add to cart

  • +1

Honestly, every time I used unlimited plans they always slow down after some time. Instead I would go for a bigger plan like 10GB. You should be fine with it if you don't plan to use it to watch movies and etc. I also check different comparisons regarding pricing and to see which one is worth the money. As an example, this is the one I always check: https://www.reddit.com/r/best_eSIM_providers/comments/1984tv…
