Good price for Aventus. Sold & Shipped by Amazon from their Sydney warehouse, so bottles are legit.

There's been some controversy about 21/22/23 batches having extremely weak performance. It seems as if Creed have corrected this in their latest F batches. I was just chatting to a guy who has received his bottle via this deal and he has confirmed that these are F batch and they last 6+ hours (as they should).

Other decent prices on Creed at the moment (some limited to a few bottles left in stock):
Aventus Cologne $344
Millesieme Imperial $321
Viking Cologne $378
Silver Mountain Water $378

I'm not in the right tax bracket for this

    • +13

Just imagine the smell of every wedding you've ever been to mixed together.

  • +11

Just in time for the upcoming 8-10 all boys Ozbargain party meetup.

  • Above my pay scale

  • +1

This is probably one of the most duped fragrances out there, with maybe a couple of Chanel ones being the exception, so even though it's coming from Amazon directly i'd still be cautious.

  • I've never met a woman who says this smells great, only men.

    • +3

I use a copy of it and have had plenty of compliments from women

      • whats the name of the copy?

        • What's the copy of the name?

        • ESNC make a copy that is very similar and is long lasting

      • +1

CDNIM? Everybody I know was repulsed by it, including me. I don’t mind the original Aventus but it is very overhyped and overpriced.

      • +1

Please share which copy you are referring to. I also want plenty of compliments from women! 😜

    • +2

wearing fragrance as a means to get compliments from women is for simps anyway

    • +3

Mrs w doesn't mind the Armaf Club de Nuit - which is (apparently?) a decent dupe of the Aventus…

    • Because when men put it on they think it smells like it does when they apply it. In reality the volatiles that create that (fairly pleasant IMO) initial smell evaporate within half an hour at most, and what everyone else smells is the vaguely musky woody not really fresh smell that remains.

    • Haha that's true

    • -2

      Cool, I guess?

If someone is wearing fragrances purely to try and impress women they have some self-reflection to do.

  • +6

    Thought this was gin

    • Yeah it’s good at getting rid of bad breath.

  • Good luck with random batches with below par performance.

  • +1

I got a sample of this recently after hearing years of rave reviews. Whilst it was nice, certainly nowhere near worth the price tag. Overrated for mine.

  • +1

+1 on the silver mountain water…though im too much of a tightarse to use it as an everyday-er..hell lucky to even use it twice a year - too expensive to just waste.

i do however use the asedos oil dupe..very similar and cheap enough for me to just use with reckless abandon - it just stains clothes and very easy to accidentally rub off …

    • +1

      Aaron Chen is that you

      • i wish my asian mullet was as luxurious and free flowing as Aaron's
i could probably give him a run for his money in the magikarp breeder asian wispy moustache department

Club De Nuit Sillage is $60 from Chemist Warehouse is honestly a fantastic dupe of SMW.
      https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/108923/armaf-club-de…

For $60 honestly give it a shot.

      • +2

Already got and wearing right now would you believe . lasts for agesss but the initial bloom is way too artificial imo. Mellows out decently well though.

        • +1

Yeah, I've found that very first blast I get is a bit artificial, but only for me or really close up when I put it on, and it settles down within 20-30 mins. Not a big deal, considering it lasts 8+ hours for me!

It's strong, I've read complaints about it smothering bystanders, but I think that's only if you use too much, or spray it on your neck and hair and wrists, and shirt…etc.

      • It occasionally goes on sale for $49.99. 3C shows the lowest it has ever dropped to is $39.99. Waiting for Amazon to restock this item and hopefully drop it down to $39.99(althought I highly doubt it).

  • I buy $30 dupes and tell women its the original. They cant tell the difference, No shame.

Buy the bottle once and refill it with dupe forever. WIN

    • +3

But it's like having a fake Rolex, it gives you the time yes but not the same confidence

      • Its the smell I care about. a rolex is different

        • +1

It's wonderful if it works for you, cheers. So why you say around you are wearing the expensive one?

  • BOBODDY

fragrance for people w/ no personality who buy it because it's popular. (in other words, an upmarket sauvage)

    • +2

how are you going to show off your personality if people can't come within 3 feet of you?

    • -5

shocked that i've been negged by boring people

    • +2

Just because you're poor doesn't mean you need to make stereotypes about people who buy a fragrance you can't afford. Your comment stinks (pardon the pun) of jealousy. I don't have this btw, just think people like you should work on themselves rather than worrying about what others are buying, which they can't. Gave your comment a positive to show you negs aren't from me either ;)

      • -5

I'm not the 1%, but I wouldn't say I'm poor. I just checked ABS and apparently my income is somewhere between the 75th and 90th percentile - and I'm not the main breadwinner in my household.

I don't normally like divulging my personal finances, but I just want to be clear that although I could buy a bottle of this right now, I wouldn't. To me it's like the frag equivalent of buying a Rolex Submariner - the obvious, safe choice

  • +1

Himalaya has been my daily for like 15y. BdP, Santal, SMW and GiT all on my shelf. My wife wears Fleurissimo and Love in White. So not a Creed hater.

But I don’t get the Aventus hype, or why every 16yo who works at the mall pushes it on the clock app. It’s mid at best.

    • But I don’t get the Aventus hype, or why every 16yo who works at the mall pushes it on the clock app. It’s mid at best.

      That's right. Weird phenomenon.

  • +1

    wow, what a spray cuz

  • My $50 clone will do just fine.

  • Lynx is just as good.

  • Nearly 400 for just 6 hours not good value

  • If your gonna spend that much on creed then might as well buy brand new batch from Myer or David Jones not grey imports that can be a few years old.

    • +1

If you knew something about this you'd know with Aventus the older the better

      • Precisely - people pay some absurd money for the older batches.

  • Zara has all the top colognes in their inspired version…

You cannot return Cologne in Amazon but if you chat with Support and tell them you think its fake. They will accept the return and refund the whole amount. Sometimes, they even let you keep the cologne..

    Is this crotch spray

  • -1

Terre D'Hermes smokes this stuff for value and the quality is right up there. A truly great scent.

  • -2

An alternative apparently, never tried it - https://trydossier.com.au/products/musky-oakmoss?utm_source=…

  • Great scent, poor longevity.
