Mod: $139 with PRIME10X2 (targeted).

ATL for this very capable device. We paid $10 more than this and it does everything from cooking rice to pressure and slow cooking very well for us. Great time saver with two young kids.

  • I'll never understand why anyone would buy a pressure cooker made with a non stick pot.

    • +1

Is there any downside with a non stick pot?

      • In my opinion:

        • Basically guarantees you are eating the non stick due to the intense cooking process
        • The best part of pressure cooking is very high heat searing prior to pressure cooking, this isn't good for non stick
        • You can't use regular utensils if its non stick.
        • +1

Pressure cooker don't produce enough heat to damage non stick pans unless you deliberately left it empty or like you said use metal utensils..

If you so worried about non stick pan in burners that dangerous expecially induction and high power burner.

And when people say stainless steel pressure cooker last longer.. Believe me the electronics and the plastic will fail before that non stick bowl fail (if you use properly).

The reason this has a non stick pot is that it also sautés, etc.

Main downside is durability I guess. If you have space for - and want - a separate pressure cooker then a stainless steel one is probably better. We wanted an all in one.

    • A good quality non stick pot will last 10 years. My old rice cooker after 10 year, the pot still has very less scratches only. I own a Philips all in one cooker for 2 years, the pot look the same as my rice cooker pot.

    • You don't need non stick to do sautes.

  • This looks good. But already got this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/863140
