Pinnacle Galvanised Bin 75L $28.50, 55L $18.50 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass) @ Bunnings

120

These were twice the price last week. That's a lot of steel per dollar. Not sure what motivated a price cut to the same as plastic garbage bins.

teracotta pot, drill a hole, a metal tube to feed the fuel through, some sand/clay to fill the gap between and you'll have yourself a tandoor oven. Good Deal!

These would be good for the chook food. The rats ate through the plastic ones.
    Thanks deanb

    • That’s what I use mine for, for exactly the same reason

  • Will it gets rusty?

    • Maybe after 20 years it might start rusting a little

    • These used to be the normal bins before the green plastic ones so they lived outside so they are pretty rust proof

  • bought 6 small one and still some stock remaining when I left. price tag says it was $45.99. the handle seems not that strong, but should be ok to stock some fire wood and lifting

Awesome, needed a new one. Step drill bit and a couple of rows of holes around the bottom and you have a really cheap garden incinerator. Just be careful how hot you make it at the base with weak spots between the holes. Once they get going they're pretty well smokeless
