$12 without prime, matching TGG, for those who don't have prime.

This reminds me of the COVID lockdown period, when the wife gave me some questionable haircuts with the REM.

I'm still cutting my own hair since covid. The one time I went and paid for it they did a terrible job and took weeks to grow out

      • +6

I think COVID just taught me that cutting my own hair is surprisingly easy.

That being said, don't buy this kit its pretty rubbish.

        • Yeah I've had one of these before and threw it out after a few years. It was okay to start with but struggled with thick hair.

@choofa: It's good in the sense that it takes one self-administered haircut to break even financially, but getting a good set of clippers is just so much more enjoyable.

I bought a $60 cordless Philips clipper with only 3 guides as it uses a twisting dial to move the edge up or down in increments of 1 - 13. I can give myself half ok ghetto fades now, I might take a course and improve my skills.

I love that clipper! Waterproof too.

Send us the pic of the area, width, length, depth of the bush etc and we will let you know if it can or not. Thanks

    • +6

      Only if send bobs first

    • Certainly, as long you smother it with your cheese.

    • It might fix up your angina

These things last - I bought a similar looking Remington (probably the same) in 2003 for $17. Used once a month & it's still good.

    • My only worry with cheap ones is that if the motor is too shit or the edges too blunt it can rip your hair out rather than cut it. Had a cheapo Wahl clipper that did this.

If this is the same kit I had a while back I would not recommend it even at this price.

I have rather thin hair and even for me the blades do not cut well.
Also the attachments all end up breaking (while being fairly careful).

At this price, I would recommend the aliEx option, I think it's called Enchen - it's sold as a beard trimmer but it cuts 10* better than this one

  • Don’t buy this stuff people… the blades doesn’t do a good job, instead of cutting it just pull your hair off

  • +3

Spend a little more and get yourself a Wahl. The blades are so much better and stay sharp for a long time.

  • I prefer using a Mach 3 personally.

  • Gud enuff for the 🐕

    • +1

Please don't try. It can barely shave human hair, will definitely pull a pet's hair.

Grooming clippers are more high duty and more expensive.

  • Those around Caboolture , ALDI Morayfield Dixon road has cordless clippers for $11.99 for a 24 piece set.
Was going to post but there was only 8 left yesterday
