Help Choosing The Robot Vacuum with Mop

I'm trying to decide which robot vacuum with mop functionality offers the best value for money. I prioritize strong suction, efficient mopping, and, ideally, a self-cleaning station to minimise manual upkeep.

I've noticed some people are hesitant about the ECOVACS brand — does anyone know why?

With so many choices available on Amazon's sale day, it's tough to choose. Here's how the models I'm considering are ranking:

  • ECOVACS DEEBOT T20e Omni is currently the 5th best seller
  • Roborock Q Revo Robot Vacuum is 7th na
  • Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni (11000 Pa) is further down at 29th

Does anyone have thoughts on these models or experience with them? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

  • I need the answer to this too :)

Stuck between the T30 and roborock

    • kindly explain why did u chose t30 over t20e?

  • We’ve used Ecovac models for many many years. Have one upstairs and one downstairs. Scheduled for them to vac 3 times a week.
Both are more basic models, I think T8 (no auto empty station), they do have a mop function but we don’t use that.

I like the models like ours with no station so the vac sits hidden under a cupboard when charging.

Never ever had an issue apart from maybe a few times the map is forgotten, but that’s over years of use.

My next vac will have a mop washing station and water refilling (probably not plumbed!!) as I use three or four pads mopping my kitchen/dining area and it would be nice for the machine to take care of itself so I could set it when I'm not home.

Currently have Roborock S7 which works brilliantly.

    I just bought this https://www.amazon.com.au/Roborock-Q7-Max-Auto-Empty-APP-Con…

Hard to go wrong at these prices.

    • I don’t want where the mop pad is just dragged. The ones I’m looking all has rotating double pads.

  • I don't own one, so can't comment on the specific models, but did see this article the other day which may explain why some people are heistant about Ecovacs:
    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-04/robot-vacuum-hacked-p…

  • Maybe I am missing something but what is the difference with Q Revo MaxV? Is it only the additional suction?

Also where is the best place to combine for cashback on a vacuum. Shop back ? Cash rewards ?

  • Hi @Ebisu , I am also looking for a robot vacuum with good mopping section, budget around 700 AUD. Did you end up buying anything?

  • No, I haven't bought it yet. I didn't have a clear understanding until now. I'm willing to spend about $1000 AUD. I already have an 8-year-old Xiaomi robot vacuum (without a mop) and a stick vacuum, so I want to make sure that I spend wisely on something I'm confident in.

  • Roborock has a good reputation and makes good robot vacs but I feel at times people overrate them as well. i.e. People here would be an objectively worse Roborock over a Ecovacs
