      Good for skinny people

They are horizontal stripes, not vertical.

        • +11

Hence they're good for skinny people as they make them appear wider.

Vertical stripes are used by wider people to appear thinner.

          Then good for short kings

    • Each to their own. I like striped tees

Maybe its the model they used….

    • They haven't styled it well on the male model, but have on the female model, I actually think the beige one makes for quite a versatile item.

Will this likely cheaper in uniqlo vietnm?

Bought a lot cheaper Uniqlo from Japan, their full price = Aussie sales price, so their sales price a lot cheaper than Aussie.

      Not sure Vietnam

Anyone have issues with how easily Uniqlo T shirts get oil stains? The only remedy seems to be putting dishwashing liquid on the stains before wash, but the stains happen so often it's not worth the effort.

    • Anyone have issues with how easily Uniqlo T shirts get oil stains

While cooking or eating or changing engine oil?

      • It's pretty well discussed online that any bit of grease cannot be washed off using standard detergent and needs minimally dish washing liquid to remove. Oxyclesn doesn't cut it as well. Not great if you have kids

It's because oil really sticks to polyester:

      53% Cotton, 47% Polyester

Buy a shirt that's almost entirely cotton.

      • I was going to say.. I wear the crew necks at least 3 times a week, and have super messy kids and work a hands on job… then I realised just now checking the crew necks are advertised as 100% cotton. Nice surprise I guess.

    • Try pre-wash spray

    • Ye, this happens with one of the airism ones I got too!

Just got back from Tokyo and didn't see this long sleeved version in any store.

Also the short sleeved version is ¥1990 (everyday price) which makes this a great deal.

    • Just got back from Tokyo and didn't see this long sleeved version in any store.

Also back from Tokyo, bought a lot summer items.

    • Was in Nagoya just a few days ago. Bought this striped one there, 1990 yen (after tax) as normal price.

    • They're usually a season ahead so some products might be moved out of stock

  • Went to Brisbane airport DFO yesterday, Just Jeans had some long sleeve polo for $18 and short sleeve polo for $10.

    • What are you implying? Are you really comparing Uniqlo with Just Jeans?
