  Great mic for those who dont have a mixer or interface at this time.

  A competitor to this is the Rode which is Aussie made and is USBC instead of micro usb.

    Rode make great stuff. I was using a XLR dynamic into a Sennheiser interface but need a mobile option for field recording - hence the USB C benefit of the ShureMV7.

    Still rocking my studio headphones from a Rode kit back in the early 2010's though!

      Your referring to the MV7+ which has the usb-c connection. The listed MV7 is micro usb. :)

      Rode does make great stuff!

  Was thinking of grabbing this today but instead bought me Rode podmic XLR version ($126) and Focusrite Vocaster One ($126) from Amazon.
