Previously $1399 and now cheaper is this robot vacuum and dock with a whopping 11000Pa suction that's sure to pick up everything.

Featuring dual spinning mops with auto lifting allowing it to mop and vacuum at the same time. The charging dock is about 30% smaller allowing it to fit in smaller spaces and can auto empty the vacuum, clean the mops with hot water, hot air dry them and refill the water tank.

The 5200mAh battery offers 200-290 minutes of run time and for navigation it uses LiDAR with sensors for obstacle detection and avoidance. It has all the other essentials including floor mapping, app control, multiple cleaning modes and more.

As with all robot vacuums don't opt into the customer experience program if you don't want to be part of the AI modelling.

    • And that's why you don't opt in to customer experience programs without reading what you're agreeing to.

This article isn't about customer experience programs, but instead the security holes in the devices themselves.
This isn't about the company using some data for AI training, it's a stranger watching the camera feed live.

What is the diff with the T30s version that is $200 more?

    • Battery 6400 mAh vs 5200 mAh
    • T30s has Yiko voice assistant
    • T30s has zero tangle and true edge

Edit: I found the answer from Amazon website.

    • 11,000Pa vs 7,100Pa suction also (whether this is meaningful IRL, I'm not sure - but numbers are numbers).

      • both have 11,000Pa ? right ?

        • Sorry you are correct - I was comparing the T30 with the T20.

@clintdb: It is so confusing , as there are too many variations of this model..

    • I was onto customer service the other day also scratching my head on this one.
I think other that the Voice assistant which isn't really that useful, the remopping based on floor stain detection which they call Osmo Turbo 2.0, it just goes over the dirty areas with the Mop like 3 times from what I understand but then was speaking to an overseas customer service team which was tricky to understand clearly.
The features on this look quite close to the x5 except without any RGB camera to worry about…

  • Is t30s better or eufy x10? This one def has higher vacuum power..

    • I'm only going by what I've read and seen on youtube, but Ecovacs app seems to be one of its major downsides compared to other brands.
Based on that alone, I crossed off all Ecovacs products from my short list.

      • Yeah, I have read a lot of comments leaning towards EUFY. Vacuumwars rated T30s as number 3 while X10 as number 6. I am a bit torn whether to get S1(rated as number 2 by vacuumwars) at $1880,T30s at $1499 or X10 at $1184 via The good guys commercial..

        • I was actually in the same boat myself. Looking for a mid range robovac with all those features. Ecovacs received a lot of criticisms for issues with the T20 series which they seem to have mostly addressed. I have no doubt the rolling mop would likely be the best performer for hard floors but I didn't think for that amount of money it was really quite good enough at getting into corners or having the performance on carpet.
I went with the T30 Omni (non-pro model) specifically because it doesn't have a camera - I think all these people posting the camera privacy issues don't understand the details of the different hardware in the large range of models since the catalogue is so vast across the manufacturer.
I'm gonna run the heck outta this unit in the next 30 days, if I'm not happy with the performance I'll send it back and look at either a Eufy, Roborock or Dreame.
It's currently rated #13 on vacuum wars because the Yeedi model is essentially almost identical.
I also didn't really see the extra value in the price jump to the T30s series.
I was able to get mine for just under $1200, (sign up to ecovacs club $50 discount + 5% Coupon code which they give you over the phone). At that price point I couldn't find anything that was even close to the ecovacs unless I spent at least another $700 or so.
The app is actually not bad. It's not perfect, but after the pressure they got from the T20's issues I think they've addressed a number of it's shortfalls. I'm assuming that extended use and accessing the advanced features with give me a better scope in the coming weeks.
