It is but they only have one in stock so it can't be posted as a deal.

Thank you so much for the link. Got Officeworks to pricebeat it even though they did add on the ~$56 for shipping. Been waiting on a sale for this for a while.

Microsoft CoPilot Arm Snapdragon laptop not selling well.

    • why is that?

        • Objectively $2000+ for the specs is bad value but it's hard to put a monetary value on the Qualcomm SoC.
        • People are skeptical of AI
        • People are skeptical of the usefulness of AI
        • People are skeptical of Microsoft's ability to store/manage incredibly sensitive information that is required for AI to be any good
        • Reviews of the product are not great
        • Developers are not on board with the transition to ARM.
        • Etc…
        • MacOS Developers seemed to get on board with ARM after the M Series right?

            @NatoTomato:

            • Apple provided developers with the DTK for "free" 1 year before the release of the M1.
            • Apple also essentially forced developers to transition to ARM as they discontinued x86.
            • Apple users are more likely to spend money on apps, motivating developers to migrate.

(don't quote me on any of these)

          Agreed.
AI is overhyped, and performance doesn't justify the cost.

If they can charge 2k+ for a phone device with a much smaller screen this doesn't seem like that bad of a deal. note some sarcasm towards to stupid high cost of phones

    • True and at even $2200 a pop, sure there will be lots of stock piling up like a mountain, won't be surprise prices will slash fast like EVs soon.

  • I've tested one in store at a JB alongside many other laptops and the very reflective screen alone knocked it out of contention for me. It surprised me, I've never thought that much about that before, but I realise I've had screens that aren't too reflective.A pity as it was really good in other ways.
