  • hmm which one better,
20,000maH from good brand anker, or
27,000maH from zyron iniu chamcast those kind of brands..
i feel extra 7k is good but if the efficiency of those lower tier brands are lower than probably end up the same

    • As per my investigation some airlines may not allow 27k. Also these 2 are on lower watts side - I’m on a hunt of some good one with 20k and starting with 45-65w, so they can easily charge laptop/tablet. Just some points to consider.

  • Why do i need this, do i need this, not really

    • fyi I have 40000mah capacity 12Ah Kings Lifepo4 powerpack and it is bare minimum imo for iPad. I get about 1.5 full charges of iPad and the power pack is drains to 50%.

I calculated it and it makes sense. fully charged 40000mah (and all powerbanks) can only output 70% due to heat loss in efficiency. that means 28000mah usable output capacity. ipad battery is 8500mah 3.7V so not conversion required, 8500x1.5 charges = 12750mah about half of the powerpack.

      • forgot to explain, so yeah I can charge the iPad a few times over before needing to recharge the power pack.

with half the capacity 20000mah (only 70% of this number is usable) you will almost need the recharge the power bank after just over 1 charge of an iPad/tablet.

        • geesus half to 70% only !

          • @CyberMurning: 20000mah x 0.7 = 14000mah usable output.
iPad battery is 8500mah so after 1.5 charge power bank is empty 0%. not enough imo.

charge powerbank 1x and able to charge the device you want (in my case tablet) 1x to 1.5x is not ideal imo.

I want to charge whatever device at least 2.5x to 3x. I dunno just my opinion but silly to charge the powerbank as often as your device unless portability is an issue, which is why 10000mah power bank is pretty popular.

you cannot take the Kings 40000mah power pack I have on flights btw it’s 153Wh. (Limit is 100Wh)

            • @harshbdmmaster718: yep im worry now when travelling with zfold, it has 4000mah battery and its draining soooo fast

              • @CyberMurning: that is a bigger battery size for a phone. like the iPhone pro max model battery size.

but still nowhere near tablet size battery so you won’t need 40000mah power pack.

with calculation above for 20000mah in this deal, 14000mah usable output will give you 3x full charge of Zfold phone (or 2x full charge Zfold + 2 charge regular size iPhone).
20000mah is ideal size powerbank for the phone.
