$143 last Black Friday, so $153 quite a good price

Got one almost 2 years ago and still in box 😢

      This triggered my 'buy' button

  • This or hold out for Worx Pegasus to come on sale for a similar price?

    • +3

I have a worx pegasus and it is good and sturdy but quite heavy. Two clamps are good but there are little gaps when you install the clamps on the benchtop.

  • Got one two years ago for 129. Use it as a table to hold my mitre circular saw. Very sturdy and quick to setup.

I got one of these last year, has been surprisingly useful.

Well 4.5 vs 11.6 kg. 100 or 70 kg load vs 200 kg. Clearly of a different calibre.

      Depends on use.

The only thing I don't like about the $26 one is how incompletely it folds. They don't show any pictures of it folded. The flat look of the folded Bosch looks very satisfying on the listing.

I don't have any experience with the Bosch, but I can tell you that the Craftright is utter garbage. Do not recommend.

I agree with others that the quality difference would be quite large and the folding on the Bunnings ones is frustratingly bad, but I have two of these Bunnings ones and used them to build a big outdoor display table. If I had lots of projects I would have gotten something better, but they did the trick for what I was doing and what I needed.

Same with lots of Bunnings stuff. If you are going to use it many times, probably better to get something of higher quality. If you only have one job in mind and you need something that will work for now, it's probably fine.

    • Similarity indicates a difference.

    • I have a Ryobi one from ages back which is identical design.
It "does the job" but definitely a bit light on weight and thin. Naturally would put my foot on the cross-piece to brace it and hold it down. Can easily start bending it on certainly jobs.

For Craftright price it would be ok. Sadly I had forked out a lot more than that lol

    • Bought this one at Bunnings last year for $149, came with 2 clamps, have used it a couple of times, and I can vouch for it. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-folding-table-with-two-cla…

Somehow I have about 10% tracked. Plus the 5 dollar bonus. Maybe it’ll update later but seems promising. Legend, Jonno!

If you get this, then I highly recommend these clamps by Workpro. There's a button on the top you can press so the top part detachs, allowing you to slide the rail through the dog holes in the bench and then clamp things that way. Super handy!

Comments here had me sold, thanks for posting!

    • Is the price still showing cheap for you though? It looks like it's only available from another Amazon store for $299 now, at least as far as I can tell.

      • It was around 80% sold and climbing when I purchased, I'm guessing it's expired now.

I strongly recommend anyone who's seriously into woodworking to consider Bora Centipede:
    https://www.totaltools.com.au/206912-bora-centipede-table-st…

It can be folded into a similar size but takes more time. For woodworking, it is far superior to those quick folding type workbenches.

    • I bought one before and its joint broke after 4 times of use. The joints which is near the legs and the benchtop are made of plastic and not very strong.

      • I had the same issue ! looks like manufacturing flaw.

    • +1

dont buy that ryobi. It broke. The plastic holding 2 of the legs broke. Bunnings woulnt take it back.

    • Bought the Ryobi one last year, have used it a couple of times, it hasn't failed me up to now. So still happy with it.

  • Showing $219 for me :(
