  These have been great for us, though Lego really need to have a power saver feature since kids never remember to turn the power off. USB charging would be even better. And I thought all these Scandi countries were greenies!

    You can get rechargeable batteries.

    I recently got rechargeable XTAR New 1.5V 4150mWh Rechargeable AA Lithium Battery from Amazon. They have the same voltage as regular batteries. Should last a while.
