Heard a funny ad while driving. Harvey Norman and domayne bundall is liquidating. Creditors are in the store and accepting offers on goods. Anyone local hear about this? If it's on, supposed to be good. Update: went in and it was average. some tents set up where they have ex hire furniture they have bought to on sell.

I doubt if HN (franchise?) will move from Bundall because I was told he or she owns the whole retail site down there and the franchise is tied to the site.
There'll always be a bunch of pensioners that Harvey's willing to sink his teeth into and charge like a wounded bull to prop up his dinosaur business model.
So glad i can confidently say i haven't been in one for 5+ years"why do i need this $200 HDMI cable"
"Because i earn the most commis.. I mean it's really super good and you can see your youtubes in full clarity"False alarm. The ads copy was something like: Harvey norman liquidation sale. Make an offer". Went there and just a few tents with sofas etc. Domayne had chairs and tables. Still lame overall.

$3.50 for the 3 piece lounge ?
Sales guy: sigh
Must be because they are opening a new one in Robina. I didn't know they were getting rid of the Bundall one, but you can see the branding up on the building already in Robina.
EDIT: sorry scratch that. It might be the good guys moving within Robina.
