Very Good price for Glenfiddich 15 year old single malt whisky…everywhere else is still $149ish

Yeah I don't know who put that there. Rest assured Glenfiddich is not vanilla. Though I will note there are processing differences between every second age statement release. I think it is the 12 and 18 (etc) that are only aged in the sherry/olorosso, while the 15, 21 etc are aged differently. So there is a noticeable difference that isn't just down to the age. Maybe someone with a better memory of the difference can provide a better explanation.
Still, they're all good classic scotches.
What's wrong with quoting vanilla? That flavour note comes from the ex bourbon and new oak casks used. No issue from what I can see.
Combined with the spend $150 get $15 off, ended up being like $89 for Glenfiddich 15 and $48 for a bottle of Monkey Shoulder. Not bad

If anyones interested the Glenlivit 15 is $99 Nicks, usually considered a better buy. Throw in a bottle of Nikka coffeey grain, Fuji single malt, or some Laphroaig quarter cask to get the $200 free delivery.
Good price. GL 15 is a nicer drop than GF 15. IMO
I tried, there is a tag "reduce" means clearance for Dan Murphy, they don't do price beat.
I jave the fuji single malt. Not a bad one. Maybe ill try the glenlivit 15
