Looking to replace my Vodafone router.
With so many router deals at the moment.
I have FTTP.
Requirements :
- Parent mode or some option to block specific IPs or URLs
- Wi-Fi 6 or more
- House size around 450 .. single story
- If its a mesh wifi — then should be able to connect to each node wirelessly (dont want to run more cables)
- $300 to 350

ah, if you're only on 50mbs, not much benefit splurging on a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 router.
I personally have the TP-Link AX5400 which is a decent standalone router.
Honestly not sure if I can recommend a mesh system, (I would prefer 1 powerful router) however if you're open to mesh, I'd look into:

You could also get away with Router + Wi-Fi extenders.
do they have parental protection ?

There is an option for parental mode, but it cannot be used alongside hardware network acceleration, so there will be some performance compromises if this is enabled.

Uses OpenWRT behind the scenes with a more user friendly wrapper by GL.iNet. More advanced OpenWRT options can be accessed if you know what you are doing.
Quite expensive at normal prices. I would wait for a sale if possible.
