  • I'm guessing this will also work with my 80GB iPod, took a chance on that one…

    • The WOW site does say:
"Plays music and video from iPod on 7" screen (5th Generation and earlier only)"

The dimensions of 6th gen+ are different and hence any fitting case will not work?

I have a 5th generation ipod though, and I have no interest in this.

  • Ditto affinity … likewise I took that chance :-)

  • Pretty sure mine would be the 5th generation going by this:

  • Nice find, I grabbed one for my 60G Video

  • Does this have video IN and OUT?

    • no info on website the product seems to be unique to WOW, Unable to find the exactly the same model under another brand on amazon or ebay. But similar looking generic models like the memorex do have output and input for video.

      • The brand is "Vue Eye" and the model is VUE600, made in China — can't find any links to the product for other information, but I have the booklet that comes with it.

  • Just received mine today - fitted the classic fine… Didnt come with a car adapter though…. and it does have both video in and out but no brightness control / contrast etc. Pretty cheap and nasty but will do for those car trips.

    Great for $49 … :-)

  • Okay, I got mine yesterday. It works fine with my older 80GB unit and the box even says 80GB as well. I guess they were concerned that if they said it was fine for 80GB they would have had people with newer models find out it doesn't work for them.

The display is good overall, but if there is a lot of white in the picture it shimmies about a little at the edges. You can send video to an external display and use the 7" display to show a PSP game screen (or other video source) too!

  • Oh and there appears to be more units available according to the website!
