OZB Will make their stock…VANISH? 😩

  • Is this used instead of regular powder or as a booster for stains ?

    • +1

In the description and last dot point, it says "just add a dose in every wash" so it should be the latter, added as a booster for stains

When I went to cookery school, my teachers swear by these and my clothes have never been the same! These are amazing! Now that we have 2 bubs, their clothes are never with food/vomit/poo stains after washing. If the clothes have very tough stains, we usually soak the clothes with these and hot water for a few days before washing.

If you're close to an ALDI, their store brand ones work the same and relatively cheaper.

  • thanks!

    this vs gold vers?

    • Not sure if this has bleach. I know gold pro does (non-chlorine), which is handy for whites.

I find Sard is better than Napisan in getting stains out

    • boost is pretty good too.

Free delivery nice. Note laundry booster is $3.49 for 1kg at Aldi everyday, in very convenient packaging. Comparing prices, I don't understand why anyone would buy any cleaning products from Cole$/Woolie$ ever, even with their pretend sales.

Yep and for laundry boosters like napisan etc they generally all have the same active ingredient which is Sodium percarbonate lol. This is still a great price but if you missed out just grab the aldi 1kg $3.50 one as you said.

  • How to use?

    • +1

I generally add it to the pre-wash compartment of my front loader, that too only when we have particularly soiled clothes. Obviously, you will need to select the pre-wash option when running the wash.

      • +1

To add to this, I have a top loader with a pre-mix drawer where I add the stain remover along with the laundry detergent or powder. With my previous top loader, which didn’t have a pre-mix drawer, I would just toss the stain remover directly into the drum.

As a rule of thumb, if I’m doing a full load of clothes, I add stain remover powder. For smaller or half loads, I spot-treat with a stain remover spray. Regardless of the load size, if there are particularly bad stains, I will spot-treat those items as well.

And to clarify for Capslock Janitor, a stain remover is something you add to your wash to boost stain removal. Even the best detergents on the market don't effectively tackle stains, as they aren't specifically designed for that (you can find videos that test this).
