Amazon Big Huge Deal Day but International Item, Wait or Buy before Deal Day?

I thought we already had Prime Day and Big Sale Day, is this the third one this year Big Deal Day Days?

Anyway, I want to buy an Amazon international item via Amazon AU., not talking about items sold in AU. Should I wait 24 hours until Big Deal Days starts or, should I buy it before BDD starts? Item has been steadily getting cheaper for weeks, I am really patient so watching it for weeks. Because from my experience, in the past during Big Sale the price continues to drop slowly (maybe a few dollars cheaper) or the price sometimes goes up on international items during Big Sale.

What is your experience and recommendation?

This is part of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale for 2024

  • Really depends on the product. If it’s something that’s pretty niched then it won’t be part of the sale.

So it’s a bit hit and miss. If you really want it and it’s at a rogue you’re willing to pay for it then just buy it and delete it from your watch list (so you don’t know when it gets reduced).

I Buy a lot of jeans from Amazon that the brand is difficult and expensive to get here so when they are cheap I’ll just buy them and be happy with the price I pay

yah I think it’s pretty niche like maybe only a few other customers are looking at it.

then maybe it’s a good idea to not risk and buy just before sale.

I don’t watch list just refresh the page in a tab so yeah don’t need to delete anything I guess but I still sometimes randomly decide to check after I’ve bought it!

usually the case for me but not this time. it’s not cheap but not expensive either. I’ll just wait till last hour, then there’s a chance I’ll forget and find out either the good way or the bad.. 😂

can’t remember what the item was but do remember once a more popular item did go up in price during sale. it was from Amazon US and cheaper item.

      • I know it’s not entirely accurate but another option is to check camels and see how the current price compares to historical ones
