Should We Do a Full Day or Half Day at Joypolis?

Currently we’re in Tokyo with 2 kids, ages 16 and 9.

We’ve done the main areas of Tokyo and Disneyland and DisneySea. I think my son would love it but from what I’ve read the queue times are insane so debating with the wife should we dedicate a full day instead of just a half day.

Any thoughts?

Update: so we ended up doing a half day. The lines weren’t too bad in the end and we got to do pretty much all of what we really wanted to do. The longest wait was about 45 minutes for the half pipe.

What about the other kid and your wife?

  • It's not a massive place but from memory with the unlimited rides pass it can take up a full day even just trying each activity once.

Split up? Take the son and let the wife (and Im assuming 16 yr old daughter?) Do something else.

They might like a day eating and shopping their way through Azabu/Roppongi or perhaps the old streets of Yanaka?

Yeah not a bad idea. I’ll discuss with the wife

Try teamLab borderless/planets immersive hand interactive art gallery. It's rad.

  • Go to Small Worlds instead, more unique and different.
You are already doing two theme parks with superior rides.

  • Been there, full day easy. Half pipe/HouseofDead/Transformer360 are addictive.

  • It’s worth a whole day. The queues can be pretty dreadful.
