Hi all, just wondering if it makes sense that Coles online sells fresh fruit and veg by actual weight, whereas Woolworths appears to just have a set price per item - is that correct? Such an interesting difference if true…
Thanks so much in advance

Does Coles have a set conversion ratio they use though eg 1kg of apples = 5 apples?
I purchased produce online from Woolworths and they sent me massive vegetables and fruit pieces. Guess this made up for it being per piece prices.
Sometimes I'll get two small ones instead of a large one instead, still get charged the price for one.
Makes it simpler, I've never felt ripped off by woolies vegetables and the cost saving for them probably makes it worthwhile to not have to weigh/update the pricing.
agree with 'the above' …and if you are not happy with what they give you there is no hassles when contacting them to say so :)
They both sell some items by per/item and unit/kg price.
I do not understand what you are asking about.
It still appears to be cheaper at Coles regardless of which method.
You should have gone to Specsavers
Ok, exactly why?
Don't buy from either, I have over the last 4 years bought online from both, I have received rotten fresh produce from BOTH of them, multiple times.
Some of the people who work for them do not care what they give you and both companies have no interest in making it right by sending edible food replacement, they refund you but that just means you have to go to the shop anyway so you may as well have just gone in the first place or better yet just go to a fruit and vege shop which is 2-3 times cheaper and actually fresh.
