Just signed up to GMHBA. Looked at the app and I apparently need a fitness tracker.
Have zero interest in them (I don't need a watch to tell me I had a crap sleep …I have those sensors already built in)!
But ..need to play the game to get points.
So wondering the cheapest way to adhere to the AIA requirements (can I just use apps on my phone)?
Cheers
You could try downloading the Google Fit / Samsung Health app and then doing some workouts on it without a wearable and see if those points count towards your AIA Vitality account.
On Samsung Health you can start a walking or running workout without having to link up a smartwatch, it just uses the phone's accelerometer and GPS to count steps (there will be no heart rate data obviously).
If it doesn't work then you might have to spend maybe $50~$100 on a fitness band of some sort, e.g
Huawei Band 8(uses Huawei Health), Samsung Galaxy Fit3 (uses Samsung Health) or Garmin Vivofit 4
