If you’ve been watching ZTT meat ride the 7700xt you’ll know its a beast and this fighter model is record lowest price and cheaper than the former cheapest sapphire model but has a much better cooler, my first deal so be nice 😉

    Yep, it's been years now, but prices still aren't back to normal, and may yet get there eventually.

    HODL is still a valid option.

    It's not like our current GPUs can't play the latest games.

      RTX8700XT will be the go to option for $599 early next year :) should perform around the 7900XT

      AMD is stalling the 8700XT and 8800XT release due to wanting to clear stock of 7700/7800/7900 chips

        Also all the wafer is going into enterprise cards for LLMs, so no real incentive for cutting costs on consumer cards.

  AMD has dropped pricing for 7900XTX and XT and 7700XT.. Likely trying to reduce stock in the market for the less popular cards before the RDNA4 cards get announced. After the Zen5 schemozle AMDs decided that its best to clear out older models before dropping the new ones (7800X3D being unobtainable right now) at higher prices especially if the uplift is sweet fk all.. Which could mean RDNA4 uplift is going to be minimal at best (which isn't a big surprise).

    7800X3D is going to be removed so when the 9800X3D comes out and its like 10% faster but costs like 40% more they dont want reviewers like hardware unboxed to rexommend you just buy the 78003D… its sad that their plan is to try and jack prices up on old stuff to make the new stuff look better haha

        Yep.. for gamers Zen5 9000 offers nothing anyone would ever notice…

        I see the 9800X3D providing 10% due to 10% higher Mhz in clock. Thats about it.
