Pretty good price for these, especially on release.

Don't forget Kmart will price match.

  • Sucks that you have to either buy a box or gamble in order to get a set, thanks to new packaging :/

    • How can you buy a whole box?

      • +1

Some online retailers have whole boxes for sale if you google.

There’s apps that scan the barcode and tells you what is inside

      • +1

Link? Could prob just list the barcode + contents on a page (as the text/numbers underneath show what is contained in the 2D barcode).

EDIT: nvm I should have just looked. Easy to find online, thanks for the tip.

There's a few apps that do it. It's the Data Matrix barcode that reveals what's inside.

          The Falconbricks app works flawlessly.

I also used 'Minifig Scan' however for the Dragonborn Paladin figure it'll show a Mindflayer instead and a note stating that it could be either the Dragonborn or Mindflayer. This was because in the EU some packs were mixed up like that.

    • People sell complete sets on ebay, they just open them and send them to you in zip lock baggies. The prices used to be pretty decent havent looked in while as long as it current release.

  • Not showing any stock in the entirety of Queensland, hoping it's just coming very soon.

My local target had zero stock showing when these were officially released on Tuesday but had 2 boxes (of 36 each) available in-store.

      • Thanks for the tip! I'll go have a look in store and hopefully they're there.

        • You might be able to just call them and ask.

  • For those looking for these in-store to scan, some Targets will have these in the pathway to the self checkouts, whereas other Targets will have them behind locked glass near the customer service area (with all the collectable card packs). If your local Target is the latter, you might have to ask them if you can scan them to find the ones you want, and they may or may not let you.

    • Could you just buy a bunch scan them and only open the ones you want then refund the rest?

      • One of the staff members told me they don't accept returns for these normally, because they've had issues with people opening them and then gluing them back up. I ordered 12 of them online, and when I click and collected, The staff member at customer service let me scan my 12 as well as some others right then and there. They then let me get a refund on the 2 doubles I still had afterwards. YMMV.

      • Not sure for these ones, but there are pretty reliable guides for feeling which one is which online. We did it for a few of the series with high success previously.

        • @Ezuku I guess you have not bought for awhile lol.
They have been in cardboard for ages…..

I’ve seen them on the returns counter at 2 Kmarts in the last couple of days (M City, and Chadstone, in Melbourne)

This site should let you scan the code to figure out what is inside.

  • I hate "mystery" gambling boxes

It's not gambling, just scan the barcode.
