    The game isn't that much better than the original. Plus it's not even finished, there's no endgame

        Not sure what Willyslicks mentioned, but from my experience, the original can be completed in one day, while the subject is not possible to complete at all (at least on the last difficulty level).

          I played UFO: Enemy Unknown, X-COM: Terror from the Deep, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2, XCOM 2: War of the Chosen, XCOM: Chimera Squad
          And I enjoyed them all!

    This is a great game, would thoroughly recommend. Crazy replayability value. The bonus also is buying it from steam is that the add ons / mods created by other users work are easy to install

    I got mine from epic and other than wotc, exceptionally difficult to install other mods

    I just finished my first Ironman + Commander campaign tonight with WOTC.
    I'm up to 204.9 hours.
    It's so good.

    I don't think comparing this to XCOM 1 is fair really, they are actually very different games if you look past the cover based mechanics. XCOM2 rewards a very different style of play vs OG and the overworld/metagame is quite different.

    I have played both and enjoyed them for what they are.
