    Yep, Laptops with similar specs can be found even below $600 with a good deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/82481), This is not a deal at all.

      If you want to compare please compare it with the same model, some Toshiba C850 are cheaper and better spec than L850 but don't ask me why.

  the ps3 goes for about $250

  not a bargain

  Not a great deal compared to the Dell Inspiron 17R SE that was on clearance for about a week. Looks like it's sold out now though. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/86022

  PS3 12gb is $229 from JB Hifi.
