My Citi PayAll Payments Got Declined

For those who took advantage of the Free Citi Payall offer,

has anyone had their payment declined for this month?

Mine was declined despite having enough balance, and enough credit limit.

Have also sent a message to Citi, let'll see what they say.

  • I've used it this past Monday to pay a bill and had no issues ignore me, I've used the "Pay bills" option, you're referring to the"PayAll" feature which I never used

  • You didn't screw up with the new payment deadlines did you?
    This message came out back in July:

    The interest free period for retail purchases on your Citi Premier Card is reducing from up to 55 days to up to 44 days. This means that your payment due date will change.
    All statements issued on or after 9 September 2024 will have a due date that is 14 days from the statement end date

  • Not sure if you're paying manually or if you've set up direct debits, but if you set up a direct debit for the card and the debit date is too close to your Payall date, the payment can get declined cause for some reason their backend takes a few days to register that you've paid off your card (even if your account shows that you have sufficient balance/credit at the time the scheduled Payall payment should have gone through).
