Inline Skates for 10 Year Old Girl

My 10 y old daughter want to experiment with inline skates.

I checked some online stores and the price range is $50-$500.

I have never skated so don't know anything about which brands are good and what to look for to judge its quality.

I would like some suggestions please.

Thanks

Dont buy - hire first at your local rec centre and do that for a term. She'll either love it or hate it. If she loves it, she'll nerd up and give you a nice list to work off for Xmas

my 11 year old got these, and likes them. They were on sale for $60 earlier this year. Impala also make decent ones

DONT get Kmart ones, they suck

    • +1 for Rebel. It’s quite decent.

    • Thanks. $149.99. Hope they go on sale soon again.

Try to get a hard shell skates if you can. Soft shell skates are generally more comfortable, but they don't offer enough support especially for beginners to learn on. Plus, the hard shell inner insert can be easily removed for cleaning, while soft shell are much harder to clean.

My girl is 4, I bought Powerslide Stargaze as her first skates, the quality on them are very impressive. I'll stay away from anything that resembles K-mart ones, as they're more like a toy rather than sports equipment.
