I bought the 3000/0.1gram (big) model a few months ago.

It is decent but occasionally drifts. You get what you pay for.

  • The 3kg/0.1g(small size) scale is a good option for making pizza dough and baking in general. I think I spent closer to $30 for something similar.

    • +1

Ditto except i use the big model. It's not listed in OP but is on Amazon.

      • How big is the 'big size'? I have the small size which works well for small loads, but based on the pics in the Amazon listing the 'big size' looks to be the same physical dimensions as the one I have.

Edit: Oh wait I didn't scroll to the end of the pics, it has a size comparison pic there…

I have the 500g/0.01g mainly for coffee. It is fantastic

I'm in love with the coco

You can weigh oregano with this

  • +1

Quality on these aint perfect, if you're happy with 'close enough' measurements then its definitely worth getting for the price!

May eventually be off by up to 1 gram (my experience)

  • +1

Good enough for coffee. Within 1g of more expensive scales. Of course I don't have weights, so I can't say they are both true or not.

    • +3

use a $1 coin which is exactly 9 grams.

        Thanks, very useful.

    • +1

1g when filling up the basket is alot

  • I bought this to measure spices. Once, now it just sits there doing nothing.

  • i use 2 of these for my coffee setup

  • -2

    cheaper on temu

  • i have one of these but theyre not 100% reliably or accurate. if you add stuff slowly (if youre working with xantham gum etc) it kinda sucks and jumps after you start adding more and more increments of whatever youre using. its still a good alternative to a 1g graduation scale but you won't get science lab accuracy and consistency with this.

    • The 500g/0.01g version is better

      • +1

cheers for the recommendation bro, didn't know they varied like that

    • How accurate are these? I dont want my customers to od

  • +1

Better off getting this kind of stuff at kmart so when it breaks its easy to refund or replace.

    • Amazon's customer service has been nothing but exceptional for me. Covering costs that I should be liable for, refunds outside of warranty period etc. The response time is quick and easy too

    • Kmart does not go below 1g

    • Just want to add that the Kmart kitchen scales, while only doing 1g increments, are well designed and made. No nonsense weighing and accuracy. Was searching for a while before getting one.

  • Have been using the 3kg small one for a few years now. Works well, no complaints. Does pretty much everything I need in the kitchen, including coffee dosing.

  • This should come with a free 100 pack of zip lock bags…

  • +1

Had one of these for a couple of years, for getting my coffee dose consistent.
Looks identical, but can't be sure.
Dropped it a couple of times, including into the sink. Still seems super accurate. Extremely consistent in/out
Crazy good for the price. Everything at shops wasn't as fine, and a lot more money.

  • I have one of these and its reallly accurate, recommend. To test the accuracy you can use a $1 coin which is exactly 9 grams.

    • Only for the 200g model

  • I just measure my gear by eye

  • Great for weighing medical cannabis.

these are wildly inaccurate, wouldn't waste my money on one again

  • Got them WMD's

    Right chyea, right chyea

I've had one of these and the issue is after some time small food particles get stuck in the buttons and does not function properly. I would prefer a button less design like this
