Orion Turtle Chips Sweet Vanilla 160g $1.60 (Was $6.50) @ Woolworths

1350

75% off the Vanilla flavour of Turtle chips. Haven't tried it, but I liked the chocolate so I'll give it a shot.

I'm not allowed the choco ones because they are too freakin good

    • +14

Yes. They are insane. Vanilla is good but only by the standards of other chips. The chocolate churro ones are on another level

    • I paid like 50 cents for these in Vietnam :) Came back with a few extra kgs lol

    • CHOCO CHURRO ?

    • +5

what kind of turtle meat is in them? I only like the taste of sea Turtles.

      • +15

Ninja turtle. Its what gives them the flavour kick.

  • there is another flavour is $1.5

    • i dont see

    • The Wasabi one, it's actually pretty good. It's obvious it's the fake wasabi from regular sushi places, but it tastes just like that with the bonus of the chip taking the lingering heat away.

      • I found wasabi one quite salty. Sweet vanilla is sweet.

  • These are amazing, thanks OP.
    We'll be stocking up.

OP pls, I'm so fat already.
Each bag of these are 876cals (and delicious)

    • Ouch.

Think of all the calories you're burning to first get to the shop to buy them, then raise your hand time after time from the packet to your mouth to eat them. It all events out.

      I'm so fat

      Don't be a turtle. Be a bunny.
      Eat more exercise more.

  • Local stock was showing as in-stock online, but wasn't able to find it in-store. Found all the other flavours though.

    • Same. App indicated this flavour was in centre of store while the others were in the international foods aisle.

Couldn't actually find the promo display anywhere though, usually on an end cap somewhere (didn't want them that bad to look too hard)

The list of ingredients took my a while to read. thats not a good sign. :)

    • +1

What do you expect it to say?

      • +34

        oiled turtles and vanilla

      • +3

Wasn't expecting vegetable oik and ginnamon

        • +5

        • Ehh olein is actually a thing

The ingredients are absolutely crap. If ate at those my feet and hands would swell up. Emulsifier E551 is the worst I respond to

      • +2

        Goddamn E551, it's always him

      • +1

  • +4

did anyone else read this as onion turtle?

These taste like Krispy Kreme donuts (or at least reminds me of them)

    • +1

    • +1

Yes was going to say this and saw your comment

  • I saw like 4 of these in different flavours quite good the bag I bought. Deffo would recommend to try some!

  • +2

No way I am telling the missus about this deal.

    • Happy Wife Happy Life. So …

  • Is this deal good for my liver?

    • Can't be worse than the regular chips in Coles etc.

  • Churro flavour is dangerous, tempted to give these a go for that price

  • +1

Try the Wasabi Steak ones too if they are $4 or below.

    • Quite salty. Personally find the original corn one is the bomb!

    • +1

Can confirm they were also $1.60 at my local Woolies on NSW.

    • +1

10000% best flavour. they're so good

  • Amazing flavour, these are better than the churros flavour

  • Not a huge fan of this flavour - but the 'wasabi and steak' and 'chocolate churro' ones are so bloody good

  • Female turtles are generally tasty.

  • I love the truffle flavour, so addictive!

  • Nothing in my local unfortunately.

  • My woolies order substituted them with the 'choco churro', go figure.
