    Hey overthinking. When I was in Japan earlier this year, I found that there are stores that have 100s of IEMs on the shelf that you can test and compare. Would be amazing to have something like that here, as you really are just guessing and basing your purchase on subjective, yet generally professional reviews/opinions. I was able to test these specific IEMs as well as the blues, and a bunch on others. I was really taken by these. I think they were about this price in yen, but this is about $20 lower than current online prices. Wouldn't call it a 'steal', in itself, but if you are new to IEMs, the audio quality to price is a steal compared to regular headphones in any big brand retail store.

    I ended up buying the truthear Hexa, as i found the sound a lot more neutral and pleasing to my ear. The Reds are a little more crisp in the high end imo, but I would say for most people, it's probably a great balance. I was going in specifically looking for ultra neutral.

    For $59, I would absolutely bite.

      Definitely want to buy a pair, just a little hesitant to buy from these sellers tbh.

      Yea I also picked up a pair of the Hexa’s myself last year via Amazon for $95 and it’s stupidly good sounding at that price point.

  But are they genuine? There has been many new stores opened up on amazon in the last few weeks selling this. Lowest was $43.XX a few weeks ago, I have a price tracker on 3 camels.

    Was going to jump but now having second thoughts. Two cheapest sellers have zero feedback. Bit of a gamble. Is the product known to have fakes?

      from the two sellers - one has no feedback and only sells this single item while the other sells this and a water gun. certainly suspicious.
