Low price on this quality USB-C SSD enclosure for those who are using M.2 2230 sized SSDs and want to use them as portable storage. In my experience JEYI are one of the better brands as their enclosures are all metal instead of plastic and act as a giant heatsink when paired with the included thermal pads.

This enclosure is quite different to others in that there's a button that'll enable write protection to prevent files from being written or deleted from the device. This one supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 with transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, includes a 10Gbps USB-A to USB-C cable and uses the JMS583 chipset with UASP and TRIM support.

  I have an earlier version of this exact model which has a physical write protection button instead of a touch one. The package is tiny yet packs a punch and I like it very much.

  Though it can get quite hot when paired with a hot 2230 SSD, especially PCIe 4.0 ones (though it won't take advantage of the speed anyway).

  I also have another JEYI 2230 enclosure that comes with the plug built-in instead of a cable: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005929273145.html Same size as the one in OP but easier to use with mobile devices.
