HISENSE 32" HD LED VIDAA Smart TV 32A4G Picture Fault

Got my daughter a HISENSE 32" HD LED VIDAA Smart TV 32A4G on the 14th oct 2021 and she received it at Xmas 2021.
She has told me that she was having heaps of lines appearing on the tv hardly viewable and now tells me it’s now a black screen but can hear what’s going on just nothing to see.
I emailed hisense yesterday but have had no reply yet are they slow to reply or ignore you?
It does say tv is warranty for 3 years so it’s just before it’s 3 years are up.
To be honest i could not find where I got it from looked endlessly through jb purchases but just couldn’t find any proof of purchase.
But I found out yesterday it was the good guys I got it from and I have details of purchase in an email which I sent to them.
Anyone experienced same sort of issues with this brand and what was the outcome or what happened.

If you're sure it's the TV and not a connected device or whatever, then I'd chase them up. Give them a call on the phone. Speak to the good guys too, I bet they know how to get in contact with their supplier if you can't get through yourself. These big TV companies have people that will come out and take care of you, contractors must be.

    • I personally not looked it myself but if it had white lines all over screen to black screen now something ain’t right.
And I’m pretty sure she has nothing connected to it.
I have never had a tv go black screen or have white lines yet with black screen now still hear sound.
Most tvs i have had last many years still even have a 3d tv

      • My Hisense had a column of LEDs burn out. But it must be like six years old now and it was blasted with a fire extinguisher a few years back, it'll be full of that white powder, so I just try to ignore the thin dim column on the screen.

    • These big TV companies

      but 32" isn't a big TV! /s

standard to wait at least 48 hours / 2 business days for a company. Usually longer tho

    • Usually these people email them wait 12 mins then post on ozbargain out of fear of calling the company lol

  • There will be a massive backlog of calls with all the Swans supporters throwing stuff at their TV's
    ;)

  • It has a 3 year warranty call them up and they should come out to you and replace the panel or the tv..

  • Shouldn’t your first call be to The Good Guys since they’re the retailer?

    • Don’t know I thought they normally pan you off to manufactures what can they do fix it? Refund you or provide you with another tv fir similar price I highly doubt it

      • What was the update/outcome?

        • Wife messaged them told to take pics and then more pics and no outcome yet. Claim is in but what are they going to do try fix it, refund us or provide money towards another.
I feel they are just messing about to be honest.
