        Blind would be methanol. Isopropyl alcohol will still ruin your day though, and potentially put you in a coma if you ingest enough of it. As Iplau said, it metabolizes into acetone, which is LESS harmful but will still very much kill you. Don't drink iso, kids.

          I believe acetone was banned from fingernail polish removers as inhaling acetone fumes can cause brain damage

      Be careful, if you have powder coated frames, it will damage the paint very quickly if it drips.

      Definitely spot test before using, I ruined my window frames (black powder coating paint turned white!) and am mad about it 2 years later 😢

      Sorry for the slow reply @PvsNP!

      I use it as a general cleaner, and all I do is pour 700ml/grams (measuring jug / kitchen scale) and combine that with 300ml/grams of water to make a 70% solution. Using a kitchen scale is probably the best way to measure. I use the 2.4l Décor Fresh Seal Clips Large Water Jug that I got for $8.25 on sale - the pouring spout makes it easier to use when transferring to a small spray bottle.

        No it isn't

        You aren't making a 70% solution if you are using scales.

        Isopropyl alcohol has a weight of 0.785 g/mL so adding 700 grams of isopropyl alcohol is really adding 891.62 mL

        You are really making a 74.8% v/v solution

        If you want to make a 70% solution using scales then measure 30% of 2.4L (720mL/grams) of water and then fill the container to the 2.4L mark with isopropyl alcohol.
        You'll actually end up adding slightly more than 1.68L of isopropyl alcohol to get to 2.4L so you will have 70% alc/vol (different to 70% v/v)

        If you wanted 70% v/v (which is what you get when you buy a 70% solution from a store) you'd need to measure 1.68L of isopropyl alcohol (1.32kg) and then add it to the water.
        You'd also end up with slightly less than 2.4L of liquid.

    For 3D printing folks this is a must have.

    I have one 5L to clean the bed/general use/sanitizer and another 5L one that I managed to get contaminated so I use it only to clean my 3D printer rails and stuff that won't be affected with the oil contamination.
    I use as it is, I do not dilute it.

    Those who are having problems with delivery and all, they do have Amazon AU store and there are deals from time to time.
    Many people have Amazon Prime and it might be easier/cheaper to get it from there.
